By downloading, installing, or using BenefitCheck Ireland, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What BenefitCheck Ireland Is

BenefitCheck Ireland is a financial estimation tool that helps Irish renters understand their potential eligibility for housing supports including:

  • Housing Assistance Payment (HAP)
  • Social Housing
  • Working Family Payment (WFP)

The app uses publicly available information from Irish government sources and Local Authority websites.

Your Responsibilities

  • Accurate Input: You are responsible for entering accurate information (income, household size, etc.)
  • Official Verification: You must verify all calculations with your Local Authority before applying
  • Policy Changes: Housing support rules change regularly—check official sources for current information
  • Personal Decisions: You are solely responsible for decisions made based on app results

Limitation of Liability

BenefitCheck Ireland and NoviNine are not liable for:

  • Rejected housing support applications
  • Incorrect calculations due to outdated data or user input errors
  • Financial decisions made based on app estimates
  • Changes to government policies after app release
  • Any damages, direct or indirect, arising from app use

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Data Accuracy & Staleness

BenefitCheck Ireland includes a "data staleness" warning system. If the app's housing data is more than 180 days old, you will see a warning banner. This is your responsibility to verify current rates with official sources.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
  • Redistribute or resell the app
  • Submit false or fraudulent applications based on app results

Intellectual Property

BenefitCheck Ireland, its code, design, and branding are owned by NoviNine. The app name, logo, and user interface are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved in Irish courts.
